What I take on
Mice, ants and wasps
Three jobs, one person. Each starts with a walk around the house.
Mice and voles
Gaps sealed, traps set in closed boxes, checks on a schedule.
Mice and volesWalk of outside, attic and garage
Metal mesh and sealant
A written note of every spot closed
Ants
I find where they come in and where the colony is before I treat.
Ants and waspsCarpenter ants and nuisance ants
Moisture and wood checked
Treatment where it works
Wasps and yellowjackets
Nests I can get to from the ground or a ladder.
Ants and waspsNest located and photographed
Removed after dusk when it's calmer
Entry points closed

What I send elsewhere
Better to say so now than after you've waited for me.
Bed bugs and whole-house treatments
A different method and a different crew.
Squirrels, porcupines, bats and other wildlife
They need a wildlife handler and the state's rules, not a pest applicator.
Restaurants and commercial kitchens
They need service logs I don't keep.
Termite or wood inspection reports
I don't write them.
Common questions
How much does it cost?
I don't post prices, because they depend on the house: how many gaps, how high they are and how hard they are to reach. I write the number after I've seen the place and before any work starts, and you can say no.
Is there a contract?
No. Each job is a written quote for that job. If you want a check in the fall each year, I'll put you on the list for one.
Do you do termite or wood inspections?
No. I treat carpenter ants, which is a different job, and I'll tell you if what I find looks like something I don't handle.
Not sure which one it is?
Text a photo and I'll tell you what it looks like.
