Pest control in Anchorage

A short season, one person, and an honest list.

I'm Milagros. I seal out mice, treat ants and take down wasp nests from Eagle River to Girdwood. I work alone, so there's a wait, and the banner above says how long it is today.

  • Early November

    Booked until
  • Mon – Sat

    Texts read until 8 p.m.

The list

How a text becomes a visit

I'm one person, so jobs run in the order the texts came in. The banner above says how far out that is today.

  1. Step 1: You text a photo

The spot, your town, and what you heard or saw.

  2. Step 2: I write back

With what it looks like and what to do until I can come.

  3. Step 3: You get a place in line

In the order texts arrived. If I can't keep a day, I tell you.

  4. Step 4: I walk the house with you

Then I write the quote. No work starts until you say yes.

Mice

Seal first, then trap

Traps alone just catch the mice that are already in. I walk the outside and the crawlspace, find the gaps, and close them before I set a single trap.

Most of the openings are the size of a pencil: around pipes, under siding, at the garage door corners. I use metal mesh and sealant that mice can't chew through, and I show you every spot I closed.

  • A walk of the outside, attic and garage

  • Every gap photographed and sealed

  • Traps in closed boxes, checked on a schedule

What I take on

Three jobs, done properly

  • Mice and voles

Sealing, trapping and the checks after, inside and out.

    See the work
  • Ants

Carpenter ants and the small ants that come in with spring.

    See the work
  • Wasps and yellowjackets

Nests I can get to from the ground or a ladder.

Scope

What I do, and what I don't

  • I take these jobs

    • Mice and voles, in houses, garages and sheds

    • Carpenter ants and nuisance ants

    • Wasp and yellowjacket nests within reach of a ground or ladder visit

    • Sealing gaps that let pests in

  • I send these elsewhere

    • Bed bugs and whole-house treatments

    • Squirrels, porcupines, bats and other wildlife

    • Restaurants and commercial kitchens

    • Termite or wood inspection reports

What customers wrote

“I texted a photo of a hole by the garage. She wrote back that evening, told me what to look for and came when the list got to me.”

Kristi D.Homeowner, Eagle River

“She sealed the gaps under the deck and around the pipes, then came back to check the traps. The scratching in the wall stopped.”

Nikolay P.Homeowner, Chugiak

“The nest under our eave got big fast in August. She told me up front the list was two weeks out, and it was.”

Before you text

How much does it cost?

I don't post prices, because they depend on the house: how many gaps, how high they are and how hard they are to reach. I write the number after I've seen the place and before any work starts, and you can say no.

Is it safe for kids and pets?

I can't promise any pest product carries no risk. I follow the label, tell you where and when to keep children and pets away, and for mice I lean on sealing and traps in closed boxes. Ask me for the product list and I'll send it.

What if they come back?

If mice get in through a spot I sealed, I come back and fix it at no charge for 60 days after the visit. It doesn't cover new gaps, work someone else did after me, or damage from a later renovation.

Why is there a wait?

It's me and one truck, and the work that can only happen outside has about five months to get done. I answer every text in the order it arrives and I don't promise a day I can't keep.

What should I text?

A photo of the spot, your town and what you heard or saw. I read texts Monday to Saturday until 8 p.m. and write back with what it looks like and what to do until I can come.
